British actor Rowan Atkinson is perhaps best known as Mr. Bean — but to his children he is simply a dad.
The comedian is the father of two children, Ben and Lily, from his first marriage to makeup artist Sunetra Sastry and one child, Isla, from his current relationship with comedian and actress Louise Ford.
Lily is following in her dad’s footsteps in her creative career. She is also a musician and visual artist, who occasionally shares her work on Instagram and YouTube. Her older brother, Ben, is serving in the British Army in a specialist unit. Meanwhile, their younger sister Isla lives in southern Oxfordshire, England.
Here’s everything you need to know about Rowan Atkinson’s children: Ben, Lily and Isla.

Atkinson and Sastry welcomed their first child together, a son named Ben, on September 9, 1993.
Ben graduated from the University of Exeter and is currently serving in the British Army. In 2016, he announced on Facebook that he had received an acceptance letter from Sandhurst, the military academy where Prince William and Prince Harry earned their military badges.
“I don’t know what this letter is, but apparently the Royal Military Academy wants me to come and attend them. Sounds like fun,” he wrote on the social media platform, per The Telegraph.
According to Daily Mail.
In 2019, he joined the Gurkha soldiers after spending several months in Nepal. He took a ten-week course to learn the local culture.
Humorous update in Gurkha Brigade Association newsletter shared, per The Sunday Observer“Lieutenant Atkinson picked up the language incredibly quickly. This can be attributed to either his language background, having previously studied Arabic and Spanish, or his urgent need to learn the local Nepalese ‘chat’.
The bulletin also suggests that he quickly picked up Nepali dance moves. “Learning some Nepalese dance moves was also a personal priority and Lt Atkinson quickly established an impressive ‘uthyo basyo’ (up and down fast squat dance move),” it said.

Atkinson and Sastry celebrated the arrival of their second child together, daughter Lily, on July 11, 1995.
She is following in her father’s footsteps as an actress. Lily is a singer-songwriter and cabaret performer who has performed at the Pheasantry in London and St. James study.
In a 2016 interview with My Theater Mates, she shared a bit about her creative process.
“I’ve always been a writer, but I was about 14/15 when I really started writing music,” she said. “I just loved writing stories and songs, making up melodies; I always set myself challenges. Of course, as a singer and performer, I quickly realized what I wanted to do.”
When asked how she would describe her musical style, she said that it is “R&B, soul, pop, with a bit of funk.”
It seems that Lily may have adopted her mother’s maiden name as a stage name. Lily’s Instagram profile goes by the surname Sastry, although she also tagged some pictures with “#lilyatkinson”.
In recent years, Lily has continued producing and recording music, according to her social media profiles. She is part of an electronic music duo called ilivati, according to her Instagram. She has also made a name for herself as a visual artist, with several acrylic on canvas paintings featured on her Instagram profile.

Atkinson and his girlfriend Ford welcomed a daughter, Isla, in December 2017.
The couple started dating in 2014, after Atkinson split from Sastry. Atkinson and Ford met while performing in a comedy show Quartermaine’s terms a year before.
Very little is known about Isla, as none of her parents talk about her in interviews.
