In June 2022, Rupesh represented the Haryana Kabaddi team at the Khelo India Youth Games 2021 in Panchkula, Haryana. During the competition, he was selected by coach Sandeep as a franchisee-nominated player of U Mumba to participate in the 9th season of the Professional Kabaddi League.
Professional Kabaddi League
In July 2022, Rupesh was acquired by U Mumba as a right-side raider in the new young player category to play in the Pro Kabaddi League Season 9 for Rs. 8.78 million. Rupesh played only one game during the tournament. In 2023, he was retained by U Mumba as a raider in the new young player category for Rs 13 lakh to participate in the 10th season of the Pro Kabaddi League.
