Sabrina Carpenter Channels Y2K Pop Star Style in an Orange Roberto Cavalli Minidress

Sabrina Carpenter wears a designer look because she’s a singer.

It’s been a big year for the 25-year-old “Espressa” pop star, and she can show it.

The pop star performed at the BBC Radio 1 Big Weekend concert in Luton, England on May 26, delivering both a fun performance of her hits and inspo flirty festival style.

Stylist Jared Ellner dressed Carpenter in an archival 2005 tangerine Roberto Cavalli mini dress with a plunging neckline and ruffle detailing. She paired the design with white go-go boots from Naked Wolfe that gave the outfit “if Velma from Scooby Doo took a break from solving mysteries to get the summer concert vibe going. (We wouldn’t be surprised if she was inspired by the cartoon since she played Daphne in the May 19 episode Saturday night live.)

Her glamorous look consisted of her signature bombshell curls with curtains, purple lipstick and blushing cheeks.

Across the pond, Carpenter was supported by her boyfriend Barry Keoghan, who clapped and watched as she won over the crowd.

In a fan-shot TikTok clip of her set, the “Feather” singer could be seen singing and dancing along to “Espresso” as Saltburn star, 31, smiled and clapped from side stage.

In the early months of his whirlwind romance with the former Disney star, the actor was seen supporting Carpenter at her shows on Taylor Swift’s Eras Tour and later at her Coachella set in April. The couple also recently made their debut at the 2024 Met Gala on May 6.

During the weekend-long event, Carpenter also joined Coldplay for a surprise rendition of the rock band’s 2014 song “Magic.” For it, she changed into a black minidress, leather blazer and tall Mary Janes, which leaned into her edgier style.

Carpenter summed up the overseas performance on Instagram as “a night I’ll never forget.”

“Yesterday was so special. I am forever grateful to the UK for giving me a double rainbow during my set, my first ever #1 and then turning up and camping out in the rain in Luton to sing at a crazy decibel,” she wrote on Instagram.

She continued: “So grateful to @coldplay for the fix in espresso remix and the invitation to sing magic during their awesome set.”
