Sabrina Carpenter Gives Millie Bobby Brown Furry Handcuffs for ‘Being Too Hot’ at Short n’ Sweet Tour

Every night of the Short n’ Sweet Tour, Sabrina Carpenter “arrests” someone for being “too hot.” At a recent stop in Atlanta, a Stranger Things the star was the last to be taken into custody.

“I’m really distracted right now because I see this beautiful girl,” the 25-year-old “Please Please Please” singer said before calling on her backup dancers during her tour on Tuesday, Oct. 22. “I fell and I can’t get up. This girl is so hot.”

In the fan-recorded video, Carpenter then asked, “Who are you, what’s your name?” before the camera revealed Millie Bobby Brown in the audience.

A graphic reading “you’re under arrest for being too hot” was then displayed over Brown’s face.

“I’ve never fallen in love at a concert before, but stranger things have happened,” the “Espressa” musician said, a nod to the hit Netflix series starring Brown as red and blue police lights flash.

Carpenter apologized for the citizen’s arrest, telling Brown, “It’s so unfortunate that we have to arrest you because you’re so beautiful, it’s bullshit.” She also said her outfit is now “embarrassed” as her skirt has fallen to reveal a much shorter skirt. Not one to skimp on puns or theatrics, Carpenter presented an excited Brown with a pair of fuzzy pink handcuffs.

The Enola Holmes The 20-year-old actress isn’t the only person Carpenter has pissed off at his concerts. On another recent tour, the singer’s on-and-off boyfriend Barry Keoghan was spotted in the crowd. When she sang the lyrics to “Bed Chem,” “Who’s the cute boy with the white jacket and the thick accent?” an excited Keoghan was seen covering his face with a piece of paper.

Sabrina Carpenter says casting Barry Keoghan for the music video was an unbiased move: ‘Who’s the best actor I can find?’

Carpenter is currently in the middle of his 2024 Short ‘n’ Sweet headlining tour across North America.

The now 47-day run across the US and Canada kicked off in Columbus, Ohio on Monday, September 23, and has taken in cities including New York, Philadelphia, Boston and Chicago. The pop star is scheduled to end the tour on March 26, 2025 in Milan.

Amaarae, Griff and Declan McKenna will support Carpenter throughout the tour.

In addition, Carpenter has teamed up with PLUS1 on this tour to launch the Sabrina Carpenter Fund, which will “support human and animal welfare, including national and local organizations dealing with mental health issues, animal welfare and support for LGBTQ+ communities,” according to the press release.
