A few days later, Sandeep hit Joghar Singh’s motorcycle from behind and both were seriously injured. On October 6, 2016, Joga Singh Khalistani, a member of the Shiromani Akali Dal Amritsar youth wing, was hit and killed by an Innova car on the back of his motorcycle. A case has been registered against Sandeep Singh and six others. It is reported that Sandeep was never detained, while the others were released on bail shortly after the accident.
