Saoirse Ronan and Jack Lowden are marking their first appearance on the carpet since tying the knot this summer. On Sunday, September 15, the duo enjoyed a date night at the 76th Annual Primetime Emmy Awards in matching navy blue outfits.
Ronan, 30, wore a bandeau top with a sheer draped detail, which she teamed with a high-waisted maxi skirt. She added a touch of glamor with a layered snake necklace. The Irish actress opted for a simple glam look; her blonde hair was parted to the side and styled in loose waves, and her make-up was minimal.
Lowden, 34, kept it classic with a navy tuxedo with black lapels and a black bow tie. The Scottish actor was nominated for Best Supporting Actor in a Drama Series for his role as River Cartwright in Slow horses.

Ronan and Lowden tied the knot in a secret ceremony in July. According to online records from the Scottish Civil Marriage Registry reviewed by PEOPLE, the couple married in Edinburgh.
According to Irish Independentthe ceremony was “low-key” and “only a handful of the couple’s closest friends were present.”

The publication also noted that “all guests were sworn to secrecy.” The ceremony took place at Edinburgh’s central registry office, located in the City Chambers, per outlet.
Engagement rumors surfaced in October 2023 when Ronan stepped out with a diamond ring on her left hand at the Louis Vuitton Spring-Summer 2024 womenswear show in Paris. The couple kept their relationship low-key and dated quietly for several years.
