Sarah Ferguson showers Princess Eugenie with love on her special day!
The Duchess of York, 64, celebrated Eugenie’s 34th birthday with a heartfelt post she shared on Instagram on Sunday.
Alongside a photo of the mother-daughter duo – in which Fergie hugs Eugenie – the duchess wrote a sweet note to her youngest daughter.
“Happy birthday to my beautiful daughter @princesseugenie,” she wrote. “I’m so proud of the amazing woman you’ve grown into.”

“You continue to amaze me every day with your hard work, your grace, your kindness and the care you show for others,” she continued. “You will always be my crazy, sweet, smart and thoughtful girlfriend. I love you, Eugenie. Happy Birthday.”
More recently, both Eugenie and Princess Beatrice have rallied around their mother over her skin cancer diagnosis, which she announced in January, just months after she underwent a mastectomy to treat an early form of breast cancer.

Shortly after the announcement, a friend of the duchess told PEOPLE that her “family is coming together” — especially her daughters.
“They’re great since summer,” added a friend.

Fergie herself also praised Eugenie and Beatrice, 35, for their support, calling them her “cheerleaders” following her breast cancer diagnosis.
“My two wonderful daughters are my whole-hearted cheerleaders, my dedicated champions and my soulmates,” she told PEOPLE last November, adding that the two “have been as supportive as they can be, as they always have.”

Earlier this month, the duchess also praised her daughters for their activism while talking to PEOPLE about her latest venture — running Global Citizen NOW: Melbourne, a summit dedicated to eradicating extreme poverty.
“We have to leave this country knowing that our grandchildren’s grandchildren will be able to live and thrive here,” she told PEOPLE, adding, “My daughters are amazing, brilliant, passionate young activists and they continue to inspire me.”
The Duchess of York shares Eugenie and Beatrice with her ex-husband, Prince Andrew. The couple are also grandparents to Beatrice and Edoardo Mapelli Mozzi’s daughter Sienna, 2, Ed’s young son Christopher Woolf, 7, from a previous relationship, and Eugenie and Jack Brooksbank’s sons Augusta, 3, and Ernesto, 9 months.
