Sarah Jessica Parker Is Chic in Green Gown at Kensington Palace Party with Matthew Broderick

Sarah Jessica Parker and Matthew Broderick are a seriously stylish couple!

The couple attended the ATG Summer Party in London’s Kensington Palace Gardens on Wednesday, with Parker, 58, opting for an emerald green Elie Saab floor-length gown with a thigh-high split and cape-style sleeves.

She teamed her dress with a glittery bag and a pair of green heels from her own SJP by Sarah Jessica Parker collection. Broderick, meanwhile, was a perfect contrast to his wife in a smart gray plaid suit, blue shirt and tie.

The evening was hosted in honor of the couple – who share son James Wilkie, 20, and twin daughters Tabitha Hodge and Marion Loretta Elwell, 13 – by the Ambassador Theater Group and their CEO Mark Cornell.

“It was an absolute thrill to attend tonight’s Summer Party in Kensington Palace Gardens hosted by our dear friends at the Ambassador Theater Group,” the actress wrote on Instagram on Wednesday alongside a photo of her look for the evening.

Parker looked ethereal at the elegant dinner.

“Matthew and I were truly touched to be honored and delighted to be able to take part in raising money to support the Sir Sam Mendes Theater Artists Fund. Thank you for having us,” Parker added.

“We’re looking forward to officially returning to London in just a few months,” she continued, before sharing details about her upcoming West End show with Broderick, Apartment Plaza, and how to pre-order tickets.”See you?” she wrote, signing off with her signature “X, SJ​.”

Parker will make her West End theater debut in the new play, which opens at the Savoy Theater in January 2024, while her co-star Broderick has previously appeared in London’s famed theater district in a performance Star messenger in 2019

Last month, executive producer Michael Patrick King shared his excitement about the series by returning to share more of the world of the show’s main characters: Carrie (Parker), Charlotte (Kristin Davis) and Miranda (Cynthia Nixon) and their co-stars.

“We are delighted to spend more time in Sex and the city universe that tells new stories about the lives of these relatable and ambitious characters played by these incredible actors,” he said. “And just like that… The third season is coming.”

The series’ second season finale featured a cameo appearance by Kim Cattrall as her lover Sex and the city character Samantha Jones, and the show is ranked as the most watched and number 1 original on the streaming platform Max.
