Savannah Chrisley Unveils Tattoo in Mom Julie's Handwriting but Says Dad Todd Is 'Not a Fan'

Savannah Chrisley got a special tattoo – but she has one big critic.

The reality TV star opened up on her July 2 episode Unlocked podcast about her new ink which is dedicated to her mother Julie Chrisley.

“For people watching the podcast right now, you’ll probably notice since I’m wearing a tank top,” Savannah said at the start of the episode. “For one, I didn’t wear a T-shirt because I was deathly afraid to show my new tattoo, because I knew it would get in the media and my dad would find out.”

She went on to explain that her father, Todd Chrisley – who is currently in prison with his wife for bank fraud and tax evasion – has strong opinions about tattoos.

“So I finally went and told him about my tattoo, right here. It’s in my mom’s handwriting,” Savannah explained, stating that the tattoo, which is above her elbow on the inside of her arm, comes from a letter Julie wrote her.

The ink reads, “I love you, Mom” in Julie’s handwriting.

However, Savannah couldn’t keep the secret for long and decided to tell her dad after she wore the long-sleeved shirt while in Pensacola, Florida and discovered it was “hotter than the hinges of hell.”

I feel like I have a piece of her. . And he said, ‘Oh, I’d hate to know we were such a poor excuse for parents that you felt like you had to tattoo that on your arm.'”
