In September 2011, she quit her job and moved to Mumbai to pursue her acting career. She has appeared in several theater productions including Little Disasters, Noise Off, and Rooster. In 2012, she made her debut as an actress in the movie “Second Marriage Network”. She is known for her second film Margarita with a Straw (2014); starring Kalki Koechlin. She has appeared in several Bollywood films including “Fan” (2016), “Baar Baar Dekho” (2016), “Jolly LLB 2” (2017) and “Article 15” (2019).
