School closures in Telangana: Schools in Telangana will remain closed today, July 20, 2023, due to heavy rains in the state. Following the order of the Minister of Education of Telangana Sabitha Reddy, due to heavy rain in the state and the Prime Minister’s directive, the government has decided to declare a holiday for two days – today and tomorrow for all educational institutions in the state.

In view of the heavy rainfall in the state and following the directive of the venerable CM, KCR Garu, the Government has decided to declare a two-day holiday for all educational institutions in the state. That is Thursday and Friday.

The Telangana State Development Planning Commission (TSDPS) said Nirmal, Nizamabad, Kamareddy, Medak, Sangareddy, Rajanna Sirisilla, Jagityala, Pedapalli, Mandhiryala, Adilabad, Jayashankar, Bhupalapalli, Hanumakonda, Warangal and Mulugu districts will experience heavy rain .

The IMD has also issued a rainfall warning for July 20 and 31, 2023. Schools have been ordered to close for both days. According to the report, schools will only reopen once the situation is under control and it is safe for the public to travel. Students, teachers, and parents should also take note of the announcement and make the necessary arrangements.

Schools closed in Maharashtra

Schools in the Konkan District of Mumbai and Maharashtra will be closed today for students in grades 12 and under. The state has also canceled exams for 10th and 12th graders and college exams have been postponed until August 2023. The state government has also asked some regions to make decisions about reopening and closing schools based on the situation in the county.
