Jennifer Garner makes dinner time — even if it’s not in the most conventional way.
The Deadpool & Wolverine The 52-year-old actress prides herself on her privacy, but on Tuesday, September 3, she welcomed Architectural Digest to his comfortable home in California.
While showing off her residence, Garner took viewers into her “treehouse” kitchen during part of the 11-minute video that accompanied the magazine exclusive.
“I’m so excited to show you my kitchen because this is the first time the counter has been clean since the day I moved in,” Family switch said the actress with her massive island plate on full display.

Entering the frame with outstretched arms, she added: “Look, it will never look like this again! Please mark this.”
Next, Garner shared her favorite feature that made the room unique: “I love the wood kitchen. So the house is really like being inside a treehouse.”

“Here by myself with my kids on the weekends, I can’t tell you how often I make something and just feed them as it comes off the stove because I’m not very good at things coming out of the oven or off the stove at the same time,” Garner said.
The actress shares children Violet (18), Seraphina (15) and Samuel (12) with her ex-husband Ben Affleck.

The 13 Continues 30 the star said that for family meals, it’s usually a “take your vegetables, now this, now that” situation.
“Everything is wrong, but they don’t seem to mind,” Garner said.
She also shared her thought process behind the design.
“So I knew when I envisioned my favorite kitchen ever, in my mind, that it would have a space dedicated to baking,” Garner said. “It’s just so much easier to have everything in one place and know where the different flours and chocolate chips are.”

Although Garner’s floor plans were carefully mapped out before she moved in, Alias alum noted that “chocolate chips are the most important thing in the whole house.”
“I could tell you where they are,” she added.
Garner also has a fireplace in the kitchen that she said the family dog can often be found sleeping near.
“It just adds so much coziness, it’s amazing how nice it is to have a little fire in your kitchen.”
