Selena Gomez just got a major hair makeover.
During Wednesday, June 26, the performance at Jimmy Kimmel Live, the 31-year-old singer and actress debuted a new, ultra-long hairstyle thanks to hair extensions from Great Lengths. In a conversation with her Just the murders in the building Martin Short (who was the guest host), Gomez showed off her new long hair, which was parted on the side and styled into a sleek bun.
Her glamorous hairstyle perfectly complemented her chic black Versace dress. The semi-sheer ensemble featured gold buttons, a white collar and white cuffs. She accessorized with black shoes and over $30,000 worth of jewels from Simon G Jewelry. The star wore dangling diamond earrings and a string of thick diamond ribbons.
Gomez’s makeup look, likely courtesy of her Rare Beauty brand, included winged eyeliner, shimmery eyeshadow, and a pink lip color. In a hilarious moment during the segment, the actress showed off her beauty skills by giving Short a mini makeover using Rare Beauty products.
Before that, the star had been rocking medium-length locks for a while, occasionally experimenting with different lengths. Gomez exuded elegance at the Cannes Film Festival last month, where she sported retro waves and a sleek ponytail.

For a photo call for her film Emilia Perez On May 19, the star wore a custom off-the-shoulder Giambattista Valli Haute Couture red silk dress with silk organza roses across the neckline and a midi-length A-line skirt. She completed the look with red Christian Louboutin heels, matching nails and flowing, retro-inspired waves.

At the film’s premiere a day earlier, Gomez stunned in a black velvet dress with white bardot sleeves by Saint Laurent. She accessorized her look with a Diamond Swan Bulgari necklace, various rings and Santoni heels, and styled her hair in a sleek ponytail with face-framing strands.

At the Time100 Summit in April, the star’s easy, shoulder-length blowout perfectly complemented her cool-girl ensemble. Gomez appeared at the event in New York in an oversized black leather jacket and black dress with a leather bodice, paired with black open-toe pumps, Linda Farrow black cat-eye sunnies, and subtle Stephanie Gottlieb Fine Jewelry.

In March 2024, Gomez showed off her shoulder-hugging style in a casual mirror selfie she shared on her Instagram Stories. In the photo, she was sitting barefoot on the edge of the bed, posing in a white tank top and jeans, her brunette bottle tops scattered.
