Selena Gomez is in the building!
The star of many stripes returned to the red carpet at the 2024 Golden Globes where she was once again nominated for Best Performance by an Actress in a Television Series, Comedy or Musical, for her role as Mabel Mora in Just the murders in the building. And she started the night with a fun and flirty look.
The Rare Beauty founder, 31, wore a vibrant red Giorgio Armani dress with an asymmetrical hemline and black detailing. It featured cutouts in the front with black rosettes and a black belt, along with black lining peeking out from underneath.
She rocked metallic red Christian Louboutin heels and loads of jewels, as well as a fresh coat of black nail polish. Her nail artist, Tom Bachik, called it a “patent leather” mani.

Ahead of the show, she told PEOPLE of her dress, “I love the asymmetrical hemline. Having the neckline on the dress was really edgy and fun.”
Gomez also, of course, used Rare Beauty’s own products to get ready for her big Golden Globes moment, which she showed off on Rare Beauty’s TikTok.
Last year, Gomez opted for some high-fashion drama in a show-stopping Valentino design that featured a velvet column dress with statement puff sleeves, a high slit and a long train. She styled the look with Santoni platforms, De Beers diamonds and classic high-end ’90s makeup, plus a powerful red carpet pony from longtime hairstylist Marissa Marino.

Gomez was joined by her younger sister Gracie Elliott Teefey at the 2023 Golden Globes, who wore a yellow gown with a tulle skirt and a sequin bodice, paired with a $3,900 crystal Prada Cleo satin bag!
This year she attended with her TKTKTK.
Gomez’s second Golden Globe nomination comes as she feels “super happy and present” in her new relationship with producer Benny Blanco, a source recently told PEOPLE. “He seems to be feeling really good right now,” an insider shared of Gomez. “Maybe it’s Benny or maybe it’s just where he is personally and professionally.”

The singer/actress has been very open about her mental health and honest about her ups and downs with her own confidence, something she has infused into the foundation of her cosmetics and skincare company Rare Beauty. The insider added that people in her circle are “protective” of her, including her colleagues.
“They were all her fans before Only murders [in the Building], and now everyone is protective of her. With her cast and crew, it feels like ‘every Selena boyfriend is our boyfriend,’ the source said.
