Beauty entrepreneur Selena Gomez tries out her new products on her Costa Ricans!
The Just the murders in the building the actress revealed Vogue that Steve Martin and Martin Short — who also star in the Hulu series — tried out her new Rare Beauty line.
“Absolutely. I kept putting Rare on the guys, Steve and Marty,” she said.
“I make them do it,” the 31-year-old added to the fashion outlet in a video celebrating the launch of Rare’s new Find Comfort body care products.

The actress — who was just nominated for a Golden Globe — also revealed that while she’s worked on a body care line, she hasn’t tried to make her own skin care. “No…Knowing myself, I’d ruin my skin by putting Clorox on it or something,” she said.
On Monday, Gomez unveiled a new 4-product line that includes a scented mist, body lotion, hand lotion and an aromatherapy pen.

Earlier this month, Gomez exclusively told PEOPLE that the new line is “aligned with promoting self-acceptance” and “encourages everyone to find joy in feeling good without needing a perfect routine.”
“It’s all about emphasizing wellness,” added the mental health advocate.
“We spent a lot of time making sure the collection truly represented our brand, focusing on soothing packaging colors, light textures and soothing aromas. Our goal was to create an experience that helps people feel comfortable in their own skin and take a moment to find solace.”

Gomez revealed that her inspiration for the collection came from her “personal love” of body products and the continued interest of Rare Beauty customers in the category.

The star also said she wants Rare – which she founded in 2020 – to “challenge the unrealistic standards of perfection in the beauty industry”. She explained that through the cosmetic brand she can “break down those ideals”.
“I personally experienced pressure to meet certain appearance expectations growing up,” the businesswoman continued. “My fundamental belief is that everyone possesses a unique and rare quality, and a sense of beauty does not require conforming to one specific look.”
