SEVENTEEN’s HOSHI recently went all out to wow fans with his muscular figure. During the Be the Sun globe tour, as well as at the current Vogue Korea photo shoot, the idol showed off his abs. Standing at 1.78m tall, the Horangi Power star showed off his muscular physique to please fans who have waited more than two years to witness the group in person.
HOSHI, as the leader of the performance team, was aware that he would witness CARAT for the first time on their Be the Sun tour. He was aware that the restrictions related to COVID-19 had finally been eased, allowing the spectators to shout loudly. Taking this into account, he began to exercise and engage in fitness more seriously.
“The venue restrictions due to COVID-19 have been eased starting with the promotion of our fourth studio album.” This allowed the audience to shout and sing. Since this was my first time seeing the fans in person, I gained momentum and took better care of my body.”

SEVENTEEN’s HOSHI explains his goal to offer fans a “more mature image.”
HOSHI, 26, wears a lot of headgear. He is a dancer, singer, choreographer, entertainer and host. The idol, a member of the famous group SEVENTEEN, always tries to improve the image he leaves in public. The reintroduction of live performances after the outbreak of COVID-19 inspired him to go above and beyond for his followers. SEVENTEEN’s HOSHI has garnered headlines worldwide for his toned abs and biceps, which he flaunted at multiple Be The Sun concerts. In a recent interview with Vogue Korea, the 26-year-old explained his motivation:
“It was our first performance in two years and four months since the beginning of the epidemic, and when I was on stage, I remembered the past.” ‘Yes, that’s what I’m talking about!’ I meant. Honestly, I persevered through the whole epidemic, thinking, ‘I have to find myself [our fans] Karate with a slightly more mature image.’”
SEVENTEEN’s HOSHI released Spider, his solo mixtape before rumors of a global tour surfaced. This confirms the idol’s outstanding voice and, more importantly, his ability as a successful team leader. He began the dance by hanging upside down on the fence, then performed various formations built around it, mimicking the movements of a spider.
Apart from that, the superstar said that Spider was an attempt on his part to present a fresh aspect of himself to his fans.
“Even though my solo mixtape ‘Spider’ dropped in the midst of the epidemic, I really wanted to present a different image.” After all that, when I saw our followers in person, I cried.”
Speaking of crying, SEVENTEEN’s Hoshi recently shed a tear when talking about his agency, PLEDIS Entertainment. Unlike some other groups, all 13 SEVENTEEN members have been with the agency since their trainee days. They broke a terrifying seven-year curse in K-pop by extending their contracts a few months ago.
