Abbey Clancy revealed this week how she once lured hubby Peter Crouch home from training.

The model said she once picked up the 42-year-old former England striker wearing nothing but a Burberry mac, with Peter admitting her teasing tactics “worked really well”.

Speaking on the couples’ podcast, Abbey, 37, recalled: “That Burberry mac you bought me — I picked it up from training with nothing on to take it home.”

And before that, Victoria Beckham, 49, and husband David Beckham, 48, shared a loved-up photo of themselves kissing on holiday to show they have the same lust for each other even now, after decades together.

Over the years, they’ve shared numerous confessions about X-marked sex, including giving each other raunchy names.

And they are not the only ones who speak openly about what goes on behind closed doors.

Here, we find out how they and other famous couples keep that all-important spark going, while psychologist and relationship expert Barbara Santini suggests how to bring those sexy star secrets into your bedroom.

‘Tart’s boudoir’ and sex while sleeping

They recently released a Netflix documentary that peeks into their lives, but it’s not the first look behind the doors of the Beckhams’ life together.

Victoria – who famously called her husband “Golden Balls” in an interview with the late Michael Parkinson – also admitted she rarely wears clothes to bed and always chooses sex over sleep.

Victoria also once admitted that they had a rather quirky room separate from the master bedroom, saying: “There’s a room like a petite boudoir, with leopard print everywhere and a mirrored ceiling.

“Then there’s our bedroom, which is quite virginal and white, with a large old oak four-poster bed.”

Additionally, in 2008, Becks appeared in a very revealing advertisement for Emporio Armani underwear, wearing nothing but a pair of tight white briefs that showed off his “package”, prompting his proud wife to comment: “It’s huge. Huge. Huge.

“If I looked like that, I would also walk the streets in my panties.

“I’m proud that I still have a really good sex life with David. He’s very proportional… He’s got a huge one though. He does. You can see it in the ad. It’s all his. It’s like a tractor exhaust pipe!”

Barbara says, “The stark difference between Victoria’s ‘virgin and white’ sleeping space and ‘starter’s boudoir’ could be a physical manifestation of the dual aspects of her personality and sexual expression.

“Psychologically speaking, this separation can be enriching, allowing a clear demarcation between the sanctity of rest and the thrill of eroticism.

“Cultivating a space that reflects one’s erotic self can serve as a powerful tool for keeping passion at the forefront of a relationship.”

It’s been almost 18 years since model Abbey, 37, and footballer Peter, 42, first met in a bar in Liverpool in 2006, and their love life is far from boring.

Although the couple married in 2011 and now have four children – daughters Sophia, 11, and Liberty, seven, and sons Johnny, four, and Jack, three – they still make time for each other.

The couple has repeatedly admitted to sex, most recently on their podcast.

One of the funniest creatures, if Peter wants to get “lucky” he sends his wife a text with a beaver and eggplant emoticon.

Abbey has also previously described her bedroom style as “Lady on the street, freak in bed”, and also admitted she would love to dress Peter as a sexy Viking after watching the TV drama and getting turned on by the look.

In fact, the only thing that would stop the couple from hooking up would be the presence of their cat, with Abbey saying: “I would never have sex in front of our cat. Let’s just get it out there.”

Barbara says: “Their playful banter through emojis is a great example of how couples can keep the flame of desire alive.

“It’s a reminder that sexual communication doesn’t always have to be verbal; it can be symbolic and indirect, but just as effective.

“This method of flirting is especially relevant in long-term relationships where the novelty has faded.

“Integrating playful, suggestive cues throughout the day can build anticipation and demonstrate sustained interest in a partner, which is key to keeping a romantic and sexual relationship alive.”

While some married couples’ sex may be on the wane, Amanda Holden, 52, and her husband Chris Hughes have had no such problem since tying the knot in 2008 – and are still having “prime sex” after two decades together.

“He can’t keep his hands off me,” she told Fabulous magazine. “I actually turn him down because I’m like, ‘I don’t want to be kissed and groped while I’m trying to load the dishwasher.'”

The star also previously blurted out that she has a “magic box” of sex toys, saying: “I think I can say we all know what we’re talking about.

“It’s early in the morning and there are children at home, but everyone has a magic box somewhere in the house. Full of everything.”

The couple doesn’t just stick to the bedroom, sometimes they prefer to mix things up and get lively in the living room instead.

Speaking on Heart Radio, she said: “Our thing is we watch a lot of box sets together so that can kill the passion – but during the intro you can do a few things at the time.”

Amanda also said she still “really likes” her husband and often thinks, “Phwoar, who is that?”

Barbara says, “Amanda’s quip about balancing family life with a partner’s romantic intentions highlights an often overlooked aspect of long-term relationships: the intersection of the mundane and the passionate.

“It’s a humorous nod to the reality that desire doesn’t wait for the perfect moment; it often occurs in the midst of daily life routines.

“In my practice, I emphasize the importance of these spontaneous interactions as opportunities to enhance attraction and affection.”

She recently reunited with former longtime love, rapper Stormzy, and Love Island host Maya Jama has shared some risque details about her sex life over the years.

Speaking on her When Life Gives You Melons podcast with former Love Island star Montana Brown, she also revealed how she would consider a threesome – if it was with Beyonce.

When the opportunity arose for her boyfriend, she joked, “I’d say, ‘Yeah, but I have to be involved.

“Yeah, you can do it, but we do it together, not alone. I’m making out with Beyonce too, you won’t have as much fun without me!”

Barbara says, “Ma’s openness and comfort in discussing these topics publicly challenges the stigma around sexual expression and encourages others to be open and honest about their desires.

“For couples, this represents the importance of communication in a relationship; not only in sharing what they enjoy, but also in how they can integrate each other’s fantasies into their intimate lives in a respectful and consensual way.”

In 2019, model-turned-actress Cara Delevingne, 31, smartly cashed in on her sex appeal and became co-owner of sex toy company Lora DiCarlo, saying she wanted to “take ownership of my orgasm.”

In a previous interview, she also shared an insight into some of her fulfilled sexual fantasies, and admitted that she is a member of the ‘mile high club’.

“I often had sex on airplanes,” she revealed. “But I always got caught. It’s super hard not to get caught.”

Adding to the risque locations she’s hot on, Cara also once revealed she had sex in an elevator, saying: “He was going to take me home and we had sex in the elevator.

“I mean, it was so sexy. It was amazing.”

Barbara adds: “Cara’s recognition of being part of the ‘mile high club’ touches on the allure of risk and the desire to transcend conventional boundaries.”

“This thrill-seeking is a natural part of the human experience, and when channeled into a relationship, it can foster a sense of adventure and deepen the bond between partners.

“While joining the ‘mile high club’ isn’t practical for everyone, the underlying principle of seeking new experiences and excitement together is something that can revitalize a relationship and is often something I advocate for in sessions with clients.”

You’ll certainly have plenty to do the next time you’re under the covers.
