I have never gone live on Facebook and never meant to cause trouble to anyone. But, I’m excited about it because I don’t know what’s going to happen next. I just trimmed my hair a little bit (for Qurbani). Veyil producer Joby George sent me a death threat. “

However, when Chaubey was asked about the incident, he accused Sean of asking for Rs 10 lakh more than the Rs 30 lakh confirmed. Joby said he was not threatening him and was simply explaining his financial burden. Later, Shane and Joby resolved the issue, and Joby apologized to Shane for his wrong remarks. Later, while addressing the media, officials of the Kerala Film Producers Association banned Sean from acting in films until Sean pays damages. An official from the association said,
Appearance is very important in movies. By cutting his hair, he (Nigam) has insulted the producers who have invested crores of rupees in the industry. Furthermore, Nigam also asked the producers of the film Ullasam for more money to complete the dubbing. The contract amount with the producer was Rs 25 lakh, but he demanded another Rs 20 lakh for dubbing. No other artist behaves like this. The ban on Nigam is a warning to everyone. Everyone is talking about substance abuse at the shooting scene. The police should check the filming location as well as the actor’s convoy. Substance abuse is one of the causes of disciplinary infractions. “
