Things are getting tense The Real Housewives of Orange County.
On this week’s episode of the Bravo hit, Alexis Bellino received a call from John Janssen that she claimed could change Shannon Storms Beador’s life — and not for the better. After revealing to the women that John had a video of Shannon the night of her DUI, she revealed some shocking details about the contents of the video.
“John ended up calling her right before we left and Shannon did something, and he said ‘All gloves are off’ and he’s going to release these videos of Shannon,” Katie Ginella told Emily Simpson before dropping the bombshell : “There’s Ring camera footage of her nearly running over his daughter.”
“She kept saying, ‘If we release this, she’s done, her reputation will be completely done,'” Katie continued.

Emily, seemingly shocked by the accusation, saw no reason why Alexis was talking about the tape. She said they wouldn’t be doing this if John and Alexis were truly happy.
“Why drag Shannon’s lifeless body behind you?” Emily asked. “I’m afraid it will push her to the point of no return.”

Earlier in the episode, Alexis’ call with John was not shown, but the women heard the aftermath, which sent Alexis into hysterics.
“I’m literally going to lose it now, the gloves are coming off,” she said.
“He could only tell me a minute about it, but I could hear it in Johnny’s voice,” she added of the news John shared with her. “It got to the point where John had had enough.”

When asked why she kept the details under wraps, Alexis said that was a question for John to answer.
“I’m not at liberty to discuss what happened that pushed John to the limit,” she explained. “We have recordings. We got fucking footage. We’ve been hiding it all along.”

Noting that Shannon “lied” but “the truth prevails,” Alexis went on to say that she knows Shannon wouldn’t want the video to become public.
“She’s such a s–t. I feel like I’m going to throw up,” concluded Alexis.
Then, jumping ahead two weeks in the blink of an eye, Shannon could be seen crying as Gina Kirschenheiter told her that there was a video that Alexis was talking about.

In September 2023, Shannon was charged with hit and run and driving under the influence while three times over the legal limit of 0.24. According to police, her car crashed into an apartment building when she got out, and she was found walking a few blocks from the scene with her dog a short time later.
In a statement to PEOPLE at the time, Shannon’s attorney, Michael L. Fell, said, “I spent a lot of time with Shannon yesterday. She is very apologetic and remorseful. We will await official information on this case as it becomes available, and Shannon is willing to accept full responsibility for their actions.”
She was later sentenced to three years of probation and 40 hours of community service. Then in November 2023, the reality star made her first public appearance at BravoCon and expressed remorse.
“It’s been a tough six weeks, but I’ll tell you I made a terrible mistake and — I don’t want to cry. I’m incredibly grateful that I didn’t hurt anyone,” she said. “I just finished a 28-day behavioral wellness program with an alcohol component and I was able to focus on the elements of my life that were unhealthy and toxic and I believe that today I am going in a good and positive direction.”

In the current season RHOC, Shannon sat down to talk about her past mistakes with her three daughters. Noting that she was “embarrassed” for setting a bad example for them, she explained the sequence of events that night.
“I had an accident a few seconds later, because I revved up the engine so that he would know how angry I was, and I immediately lost control of the car,” she claims. “I’ve never broken a bone, I’ve never had a concussion, I’ve never been in an accident, I’ve never been arrested, I’ve never had a DUI, and I did it all in 10 seconds.”
