Shantanu Maheshwari was born in Kolkata on Thursday, March 7, 1991 (age 32 years; as of 2023). His zodiac sign is Pisces. He studied at St. Joseph’s College, Calcutta, and pursued higher education at the Human Resources Institute of Commerce and Economics, Bombay. Maheshwari was good at sports when he was a student, and his favorite was badminton.

He started dancing at a very young age. When Shantanu was 8 years old, she participated in the dance reality show “Kya Masti Kya Dhoom” aired on Star Plus. Shantanu Maheshwari started his acting career in 2011 with Channel V’s dance show “Dil Dosti Dance”. He gained huge popularity for playing the role of ‘Swayam Shekhawat’ in the show. In the same year, he performed a special dance performance in the TV series Ek Hazaaron Mein Meri Behna Hai.
In 2013, he performed a special dance performance in the fifth season of the dance reality show “Nach Baliye” with the D3 team. Next, he participated in “Jhalak Dikhhla Jaa 9” as a celebrity contestant and emerged as the second runner-up in the show.
