Soon after completing his schooling, Shashank Ketkar traveled from India to Australia to complete his engineering degree. He earned a postgraduate degree in engineering in Sydney, Australia, where he was associated with Olympic gold medalist Ian Thorpe’s swimming school. After graduation, Shashank Ketkar worked for a period as the shift manager at Ian’s swimming school. Gradually, he obtained a swimming certificate and became a qualified swimmer.
