Some people think that wildlife can’t feel grateful to someone who got them out of a difficult situation, but it’s videos like the one you’re about to see that are great proof of the opposite.
It all started when a veterinarian from Four Paws saw a wild horse chained in the middle of a field in Romania. Unable to walk freely, the horse showed a depressed expression. It seems that it has given up on life and is just waiting for everyone to suffer the same pain and not have the same happiness.
Knowing that it was not only immoral but illegal to chain a wild horse, the veterinarian decided to restore the animal’s freedom and independence. The men’s actions were horrible, but the best part of this video is how the horse reacts to them.
A horse’s reaction to a man freeing it from the shackles wrapped around its skin and imprisoning it in a place is so powerful that it can bring tears to your eyes.
The horse in the video below was lucky, but there are many other horses in the Danube Delta that also suffer the same pain and are not so lucky.
