When she tried to stab her husband to death and was arrested by the police, Davalloo’s ruse backfired.

In the late 1970s, Davalloo and his family left Iran for the United States to escape the turmoil and bloodshed of the Iranian Revolution. She and her parents, who work in medicine and health care, arrived safely in their new country and settled in the Yorktown Heights neighborhood of New York.

The following year they moved to Pleasantville, New York. It was conveniently close to both of their professions, which were in the northern suburbs of Westchester County, New York. Sheila took a job as a scientist at Purdue Pharma, a company based in Stamford, Connecticut, while Paul worked at Cornell University’s New York campus.

Even though everything was going well for the couple, their once heated relationship faded with each home win. According to Davalloo in an exclusive prison interview for the upcoming TV special “Snapped Behind Bars: Sheila Davalloo,” airing Sunday, December 1 at 6/5c, the two lived more like roommates than married.

Davalloo first met Nelson Sessler in the summer of 2001 during an after-work happy hour gathering. They immediately began having sex, according to court records. Sessler, however, did not know that the woman he had sex with was married.

Davalloo came up with an elaborate scam to trick her boyfriend and husband into covering up their affair. Davalloo informed Christos that her mentally ill brother was visiting and that she would be sad if she found out she was married so she could get rid of him for the night or weekend.

In fact, Christos helped his cheating wife pack up her belongings, including her clothes, toiletries, and family photos, before leaving for the night at her parents’ or friends’ house.

In an earlier episode of “Snapped,” former Westchester County Police Detective Alison Carpentier said, “He thought she was separated, divorced.” “Paul literally did a good job of exposing things, or Sheila would have done a great job of hiding them.”

She was seeing Sessler at the same time he was seeing Anna Lisa Raymundo, another Purdue Pharma employee. Eventually, she will part ways with Davalloo and move into Raymond’s Stamford apartment. According to the Stamford Advocate newspaper, Davalloo appears to have taken it in stride, assuring Sessler that their relationship was just a summer fling.

However, secretly, Davalloo planned to kill Raymond and set his sights on Sessler. Her own husband was one of many with whom she discussed the relationship. Christos testified that Davalloo spoke to her every day at work about the “love triangle” between her friends “Melissa”, “Anna Lisa” and “Jack”.

According to a report in the local Norwalk Hour newspaper, “she kept asking me why Jack would do this, what he was thinking, and what ‘Melissa’ should do.”
