Shereé Whitfield Reveals the ‘One Thing’ She Regrets from Her Time on RHOA

Shereé Whitfield wishes she had acted differently in one infamous movie The Real Housewives of Atlanta the moment.

At a panel Friday for her BravoCon 2023 appearance, a fan asked the 53-year-old reality star about the time she infamously pulled Kim Zolciak’s wig in 2009.

Although the moment has come housewives history, Whitfield admitted that she feels guilty about how the situation unfolded.

“That’s probably the only thing I regret. Because I love Kim Zolciak,” she said. “Things turned around and it just didn’t go well that night. I feel bad about that.”

In the 2nd season The Real Housewives of Atlanta, Whitfield found herself in the middle of a feud between Zolciak and NeNe Leakes. In an attempt to show the mother of six who’s boss, she pulled her wig and flipped it upside down.

“I didn’t try to do it, I didn’t want to do it,” she explained then in the confessional. “I just wanted to move it a little.”

While the Bravolebrities may have had their differences, Whitfield said she would love to bring Zolciak back to the reality show. Zolciak was one of the original Atlanta housewives when the series premiered in October 2008, before she decided to leave RHO halfway through season 5.

“I told her, I told the production, I told anyone who would listen,” she said before addressing Zolciak’s recent headlines. “She’s great, she’s funny, her kids. She definitely has a story now.”

It’s in May RHO The alum and her estranged husband Kroy Biermann have filed for divorce after 12 years of marriage, saying they are “irretrievably broken with no hope of reconciliation.” Two months later, Zolciak rekindled her relationship with the former NFL player and filed a motion to dismiss her petition.

“They are in agreement and calling off the divorce,” a source told PEOPLE in July. “They’re trying to do it for the kids.”

Despite their commitment to reconciliation, their renewed relationship was short-lived. In August, Biermann filed for divorce for the second time and once again declared his marriage “irretrievably dissolved” in the documents.

Amidst their marital woes, the former couple was also experiencing their share of financial burdens.

The couple’s financial problems became known after the foreclosure of their mansion in Georgia. According to a notice shared by Fulton County in February, Truist Bank planned to auction the property in Fulton County Court after the couple defaulted on a $1.65 million loan they took out on the property in October 2012.

A source told PEOPLE at the time that Zolciak “has been telling everyone that this is a misunderstanding and that it’s being worked out.”

The couple finally put their mansion up for sale in October.

Zolciak and Biermann bought the house in 2012, a year after they were married. They lived there with their children: Kroy “KJ” Jagger Jr., 12, Kash, 11, and twins Kaia Rose and Kane Reno, 9. Kim also has two older daughters from a previous relationship, Brielle, 26, and Ariana, 21. who was legally adopted by Kroy.
