Shivani Pruthvi was born on Saturday, November 22, 1997 in Davanagere, Karnataka, India (25 years old; as of 2023). Her zodiac sign is Sagittarius.
She learned to roller skate when she was 5 years old and later participated in state competitions. She also played basketball, tennis and tennis during her school days. She also showed a passion for bicycles and cars during her childhood.
She initially studied at Amrita Vidyalayam School in Davanagere and later at Sri Taralabalu Central School in Davanagere.
She graduated in 2021 with a Bachelor of Medicine degree from SDM College of Medical Sciences, Dharwad, Karnataka. She then pursued a postgraduate degree in Orthopedics from RajaRajeswari Medical College and Hospital, Bangalore. She later became a rally driver and a doctor.

Shivani Pruthvi started racing in 2018 when she was in her second year of Bachelor of Internal Medicine. She was preparing for her semester exams, which left her exhausted as she couldn’t play any sports during her preparations. After the exam, Shivani approached her father and asked him to teach her racing, after which her father started teaching her on the same day. She initially trained in the factory compound, where many of the concrete water pipes were open.
In 2018, she participated in her first autocross event in Kochi. She later joined Ahura Racing, India’s first all-women racing team, and competed in the Ameo Cup for Volkswagen Motorsport India.
In 2019, she participated in her first rally, the 2019 INRC (Indian National Rally Championship) South India Rally in Chennai. In 2019, she participated in the Indian National Autocross Championship, Mysuru Dasara Gravel Fest and Asian Auto Gymkhana Championship.
She started racing in 2019 with her mother Deepti Pruthvi as co-driver, and their first rally was the 2019 South India Rally. She also won the Times Women’s Drive title two consecutive years in 2018 and 2019 with her mother.
In 2021, she participated in the KMS 50 Grand Prix held in Coimbatore. She participated in the Himalayan Rally 2021 along with fellow racer Deeksha Balakrishna.
