Shiyas Kareem is a very talented young man who was born and raised in Kochi, Kerala State, India.
He was educated at GHSS Cheranalloor Perumbavoor, Kerala. He graduated from Gandhigram Rural College, Chinnalapatti, Tamil Nadu.

In October 2023, Shiyas Kareem was detained at the Chennai International Airport in Tamil Nadu in connection with a rape and cheating case. He was arrested on a complaint filed by a woman from the Chandra police station in Kerala. In the complaint, the woman alleged that Shiyas took away around Rs 100. He has been sexually assaulting her since 2021. Following this, the Kerala Police registered a case against Shiyas under sections 376, 420, 417 and 313 of the IPC and issued a lookout notice against him. After Shias was arrested at the airport, his custody was handed over to the Kasaragod police. However, the Kerala High Court later granted him interim bail in the case.
