THIS is the shocking moment police discovered a woman living inside a sign on the roof of a supermarket.
The 34-year-old turned the small space into a cozy home – equipping it with a kitchen, an office, and even a coffee machine.

The video shows the moment the tenant rumbled as the officers opened the door and told her to “get out now”.
The woman told officers she had lived behind the triangle-shaped sign – about 5ft wide and 8ft tall – for a year.
Her hiding place was discovered by contractors hired to work on a busy Family Fare store in Midland, 130 miles north of Detroit, Michigan in the US.
She seemed to have worked hard to turn the cramped space into a comfortable abode.
One of the workers saw an extension cord on the roof and ran into the woman in her makeshift house where she had room for a printer, coffee maker and computer, police said.
She also reportedly installed floors and bedding, and had house plants.
Officer Brennon Warren of the Midland Police Department said the woman was homeless and added, “It’s a head-scratching story, just someone living in a sign.”
He explained that the woman’s improvised house was entered through a door on the roof.
When the woman came out, she was wearing an all-black Puma tracksuit with a ski mask, gloves and ski goggles.
She told officers she wore this because she was allergic to the sun, they said.
Marc Pierre White’s West End restaurant has been taken over by squatters who locked the doors after Gordon Ramsay’s pub invasion
Footage obtained by MLive captured the moment the squatter was evicted on April 23.
The police were able to convince the woman to open the small metal door to the sign.
They tell her: “You’re leaving right away, you don’t have time, you’re coming with us.”
Officers said they were impressed with the squatter’s “apartment”, calling it “pretty ingenious”.
One told her, “People have seen you up here. Believe it or not, you have a nickname.”
The woman says, “Spiderman?”, before the cop replies, “No, roof ninja.”
They assured the woman that they would collect all her property and hand it over to her.
She said she was trying to get away from people and asked them not to contact her family.
“Right now, you’re not in any trouble,” the officer replies. “You’re an adult. I don’t need to tell anyone what interests you.”
The woman, who described herself as homeless, did not reveal how she got onto the roof, but called it an “old safe place.”
Despite being forced to leave her shelter, she sweetly offered the police a non-alcoholic ginger root drink, which they politely declined with a laugh.
They also praised her clean space, joking that she eats healthier than them.
The woman was not fined because she left without making a noise.
After the story went viral, Family Fare donated $10,000 to Midland’s Open Door, a homeless shelter in Midland.
It comes as security guards at the shopping center were stunned to discover the man had allegedly been living under the staircase for six months.
The resourceful young man made himself at home by equipping his cabin with a tent, a table, a computer, and even an ergonomic chair.
Some viewers called the man a “parasite” and said he could be dangerous, while others praised his clever rent-avoidance tactics.
