Fireworks were mistakenly shot into the audience around 7 p.m.
According to the witness, the rockets flew into the pram, which caused the mother to throw it out with her own hands to save her child.
A private medical team employed by the Stone Cricket Club was on hand to deal with the burns and blisters caused by the crowd.
It is assumed that around six people were hit as the surrounding families and onlookers scattered.
One reveler told StokeonTrentLive: “Fireworks went off in the crowd and a bunch of people ran away.
“I heard they announced that they were calling for an ambulance and I was told that six people had been hit by fireworks.
– The fireworks continued later.
A terrified father who attended the disastrous performance also claimed: “It hit the family standing next to us.
“We felt the heat as it entered us. My son’s hood was burned.”
As the mother-of-two claimed the rocket strayed so close to her, she was forced to “throw” her terrified daughter out of the firing line.
Commenting on the Facebook page, one stunned guest wrote: “It came straight at me, my two kids and my other half, I had to throw my daughter away.
“We left after it happened, we hope everyone else is okay.”
“One firework flew across the grass and exploded in front of the steward, then two or three fireworks followed across the grass and exploded into the crowd,” said another shocked witness.
They added: “It was dangerous so we left immediately.”

Meanwhile, another visitor agreed the ordeal was “terrifying” as families ran to safety with their children.
“We left because the fireworks had apparently started going off in the crowd,” agreed another angry attendee.
One guest told The Sun Online: “We were there, it was horrible to see the fireworks falling into the crowd.
“I brought my family, my husband and boys aged 14 and 11 to the event.
“7pm came and we moved from the cricket club to the fences for a good view, the event was closed and the crowd returned, there were several thousand of them, the field was big and the fireworks lasted for a few minutes, about 10 minutes max.
“Then there were at least two fireworks that flew into the crowd, one went off to our left, near the main track, and then another one went off – I’m guessing computer programmed and maybe it couldn’t be stopped?
“There was an announcement for an ambulance and we assumed that would be the end of the show, because apparently we entered the crowd and hit someone, because people moved out of the way.
“At that moment there are no more fireworks and we decided to leave, a lot of people were doing the same, very determinedly walking away.
“It definitely felt like it was over.
“We had a decent walk to the car and just as we arrived we saw the fireworks had started again.
“We thought maybe no one was hurt, but it seems I was wrong.
“I’m devastated, I know the boys were, and to be honest, what was supposed to be a fun night out, and affordable for my husband, who is disabled, turned out to be disappointing for us and obviously not great for those injured.
“The ground was quite muddy underfoot, so I wonder if the firework had slipped off the stand or something, they seemed to have tipped quickly to our left and no one stopped them.
“I personally am still quite in shock.”
Stone Swynnerton Park Cricket Club confirmed that a “briefing” had taken place.
So far, no one has been available for comment.
Staffordshire Police said they were not called to the incident.
Staffordshire Fire and Rescue Service and West Midlands Ambulance Service were contacted.
