Profession
When Shrikant Jadhav was in ninth grade, he moved to Mumbai from Ahmednagar. At the age of 18, he was selected for the Maharashtra Kabaddi team and represented the state team in national competitions. Due to his performance at the state level, Jadhav got an opportunity to receive professional training in Kabaddi at SAI in Kandivali, Mumbai.
Professional Kabaddi League (PKL)
After two years of struggling in the domestic tournament, Shrikant Jadhav was signed by Jaipur Pink Panthers in his second season in the Pro Kabaddi League (PKL). In his third season with the Bengals, he scored 10 points in five games. However, a shoulder injury forced him to take nearly a year off.
Shrikant Jadhav then joined the Bengal Warriors in the fourth season of the Pro Kabaddi League; however, he scored only 7 raid points in 5 games. Therefore, the team decided to let him go. He joined U Mumba in his fifth season and made significant progress, scoring 86 points in 19 games.
In the 6th and 7th seasons, Shrikant Jadhav played for UP Yoddha and scored 141 and 148 raid points respectively. In 2021, he will continue to play for the team in the 8th PKL season. He then participated in the National Railway Championships in Gorakhpur, Uttar Pradesh in October 2023 and won a bronze medal.
