Silvina Luna (1980-2023) was an Argentinian model, actress and vedette (cabaret) artist. She died of kidney complications on August 31, 2023, allegedly due to complications from butt lift surgery.

She died of kidney disease on August 31, 2023, reportedly caused by complications from butt lift surgery. In October and November 2011, Luna underwent Brazilian butt lift surgery. In 2014, she was found to have kidney stones, allegedly caused by a plastic surgeon using methacrylate on her buttocks. Twelve years after her initial plastic surgery, her doctor recommended she get a kidney transplant. In 2023, her health began to deteriorate and she was rushed to a nearby hospital. In April 2023, Luna shared a video on her Instagram account in which she was on a life-sustaining machine in a hospital in Buenos Aires, Argentina.
On August 19, 2023, officials at the hospital where she was admitted reported that she had a bacterial infection and was removed from the life support machine. However, she did not survive and breathed her last on August 31, 2023.
