Simone Biles and Jonathan Owens are one competitive couple.
The Olympic gold medalist, 26, recently appeared at Peacock’s Return that yearwhere she talked about how she and husband Owens, 28 — who plays safety in the NFL for the Green Bay Packers — argue about who is the better athlete between them.
The topic came up after host Kenan Thompson asked Biles who she thought was the “better athlete in the house,” to which she replied, “I think we’re good at our own sports,” referring to gymnastics for her and soccer for her husband.
However, the athlete did not completely fail, because she then added: “We tried to confront each other [one another] on, like, difficulties, abilities and all that stuff. So at the end of the day, gymnastics is harder, whether he agrees or not.”
While fellow host Kevin Hart asked Biles if their lovers’ feud had been a “domestic feud for a while,” she told the comedian, “We’ve fought about it a few times, and then we vowed to get married when we got married. I’m not talking about that again. But it keeps coming up every time. He did my workout in the gym, and he could barely do it, and then I went to their NFL workout and I destroyed it.”

Simone Biles and Jonathan Owens Relationship Timeline
Biles’ comments came around the same time Owens drew criticism for saying he considered himself a “catch” in their relationship during the couple’s appearance on Headquarters podcast, hosted by Ryan Clark, Fred Taylor and Channing Crowder earlier this month.
Criticism of Owens was directed at one part of the debate where Crowder asked him, “How the hell did you pull a Simone Biles?”
“She really pulled me back, man, that’s the question,” the NFL player said, before stating that he didn’t know who his current wife was at first.
“When she won the Olympics, I was in college and we didn’t have NBC, we didn’t have Olympic channels and we were in [training] camp [in] late July, early August,” he explained to Crowder, adding, “So, I’m not paying attention. I would never have a moment to watch [her compete].”

Owens went on to say that Biles texted him first — the pair met on the Raya dating app — and that they then “joked back and forth” and met in person a few days later.
When the NFL star was asked if he considers himself “the catch” in his relationship with Biles, he explained, “I always say men are the catch.”
He also noted that he was “afraid to commit” because of where he was in life at the time, adding, “Like, ‘It’s a little early.'”
However, he explained that everything ended well between them, saying: “But you know, it happens when you least expect it. When we hung out, we hit it off right away. We laughed all night.”

However, Owens remained unfazed by the criticism he received after the podcast aired. “Smooth 😂❤️ Just know we’re locked in here 🤞🏽,” he wrote alongside a series of photos of himself and Biles on Instagram.
“🤞🏾💋 For life,” Biles replied in the comments section and shared her husband’s post on her Instagram Story.
She also took to her Instagram to share a photo of herself and Owens striking a wedding day pose and captioned it, “Mood.”
A few days later, Biles again responded to the criticism that continued to pile up, posting a photo of a confused-looking child scratching his head on X (formerly known as Twitter), added a question to followers in the caption.
“Are you done yet?” – wrote Biles with the photo.
