Sini Shetty was born in 2000 in Mumbai, Maharashtra (22 years old; as of 2022). After completing her primary education at St. Dominic Savio Vidyalaya, Mumbai, she continued her high school education at KJ Somaiya College of Arts and Commerce, Mumbai. Thereafter, she completed her bachelor’s degree in accounting and finance from SK Somaiya Degree College of Arts, Science and Commerce, Vidya Vihar, Mumbai. Although she was hired by a marketing company after her internship, her interest in dance and modeling led her to venture into the entertainment industry. As of 2022, she is pursuing the Chartered Financial Analyst (CFA) program.

This victory paved the way for Sini to represent India in the 71st Miss World beauty pageant. Meanwhile, Rubal Shekhawat emerged as the first runner-up and Shinata Chauhan emerged as the second runner-up.

Sini participated in the 71st Miss World competition held on March 9, 2024 at Jio World Convention Center in Mumbai. She became one of the top eight contestants in the competition. In the final round, she was asked, “Can you suggest a way to empower women through social media?” She responded,

- She has loved dance since she was a child and started dancing at the age of 4. At the age of 14, she completed Bharatanatyam’s Arangetram under the guidance of Padmini Radhakrishnan; Arangetram refers to the graduation ceremony of Indian classical dance students, where the instructor presents his or her students to the public. Later, she received dance training at Dance People Studio By Melvin Louis in Mumbai. Apart from Bharatanatyam, she also performs Bollywood style Qbop and hip-hop dance.
- Before competing in Miss India 2022, she trained at Cocoaberry, a modeling and pageant training company in Mumbai. She is the second runner-up of the Cocoaberry Diva competition in the May 2022 batch.

- In an interview, she revealed that she was inspired by Indian actress and model Priyanka Chopra. Shetty said,
