Sister Wives' Christine Brown Reflects on Creating Her 'Joyful Ending' with David After Split: 'Keep Moving Forward'

When Christine Brown looks back on her marriage to Kody Brown, she feels nothing but gratitude now that she’s happily married to husband David Woolley.

It’s September 9 Sister wives star, 52, reflected on the trials she endured in her polygamous marriage to the Brown family patriarch in a video montage shared on Instagram. The clips featured shots of Christina wiping away tears and looking thoughtful before switching to happy photos of her wedding to David.

“Sometimes I wish it was as simple as clicking our heels three times,” she began in her caption. “If only it were so easy to leave behind the most difficult moments in life. But this is what I know: even in the most difficult situations there is always hope.”

Christine told her followers that they “have the power to create your own happy ending” despite how “impossible” things seem right now.

“It’s not easy, but it’s worth it. Keep believing, keep moving forward—because brighter days await you on the other side. ✨💛 #TheresHope #BrighterDaysAhead,” she concluded.

After announcing their relationship in February 2023, Christine and David tied the knot in Utah in October of that year. The wedding followed Christine’s separation from her ex-husband Kody, to whom she had been married for 25 years. The two have six children: daughters Apsyn, Mykelti, Gwendlyn, Ysabel, True and son Paedon.

In September 2023, Christine told PEOPLE that her current husband “has more integrity than anyone I know. He built his business while he was a single father, so that’s everything to him.”

She continued about David: “His word is his bond and it means everything to him….If he says he’s going to do it, he’s going to do it.”

“He is a phenomenal person, to the core. He is simply outstanding. Yeah, I just feel like I hit a gold mine, Major,” she said. “I won the lottery with him.”

Unlike her previous relationship, Christine said her relationship with David is “simple. It’s really simple. It’s a simple, simple life. And I didn’t know I could have a simple life with somebody.”

“I didn’t know I would find a soulmate. I totally found my soulmate. He’s totally my soulmate and I didn’t even know,” she added, admitting, “I come with a lot of complications and he loves me — and that’s the best thing of all.”
