Sister Wives’ Christine Brown Wears Cheeky ‘I’ve Tried Polygamy’ T-Shirt for First Thanksgiving as Newlywed

Christine Brown had a lot to be thankful for this Thanksgiving — and her new t-shirt might just be one of those things!

The Sister wives star spent her first holiday with husband David Woolley and shared a snap of the celebration on Instagram, as she sported a cheeky new T-shirt while posting cooking instructions.

Brown, 51, wore a T-shirt that read “I Tried Polygamy” as she shared how to make butter rolls for Thanksgiving with her Instagram followers on Thursday — and several fans asked her about it during the alleged Instagram Live.

“So I went to eat at a place [called] Bohemian Brewery, we went there for dinner and they said, ‘Out of everyone here, we think you should probably have this shirt,'” she said. “They gave me this shirt.”

Brown added that the gesture was “super kind” and “super nice” and even turned around to show off the back of the shirt, which turned out to be a branded shirt from Polygamy Porter beer and featured the phrase “why only have one . ”

“Morning and Happy Thanksgiving,” she said in the second part of the clip. “This is my first Thanksgiving with David. He’s making turkey and mashed potatoes. His sister is here, she’s making the gravy, my mom is here, she’s making the pumpkin roll. I’m making Janelle’s layered salad because it’s amazing.”

Brown and her husband, 59, tied the knot on Oct. 7 in front of 330 guests during an outdoor ceremony in Moab, Utah.

The newlyweds first met on a dating website in 2022, and Brown joked to PEOPLE in October that she was immediately intrigued by Woolley’s “gorgeous” profile.

“All real pictures,” she recalled. “It was him with those eyes. I’m like, ‘You know what? I want to be looked at with those eyes for the rest of my life.’ Him with his grandchildren, and at Disneyland, and then him at the beach. I said, ‘Yeah. Sign me up for all of that!'”

Brown was previously one of four wives — including Janelle, Meri and Robyn Brown — in a polygamous marriage to Kody Brown. Christine and Kody (54) separated in 2021 after 25 years together. They have daughters Aspyn (28), Mykelti (27), Gwendlyn (21), Ysabel (20), True (13) and son Paedon (25).

The TLC the star’s daughters, as well as Janelle (54), were present at the couple’s wedding.

Woolley explained in October that he knew right away that Brown was special.

“I’m really very happy and very happy that someone released her, because she’s a unicorn,” he added.

And Brown said Woolley represents “home” to her.

“I feel that wherever we are together, together we create this incredible unity,” she explained. “We are a solid unit and whatever happens around us just doesn’t matter. Being married together only makes us stronger together.”
