Sister Wives’ Kody Doesn’t ‘Want to Talk to Janelle Ever Again’ as He Admits ‘Guilt’ About Not Loving 2 Wives

Kody Brown has no intention of reconciling with his second wife Janelle Brown.

In the teaser for next week Sister Wives: One on One Specialreality star, 54, admitted he has no desire to reconnect with his ex-wife, also 54, after their split last year.

“I was thinking to myself, I don’t ever want to talk to Janelle again,” he tells moderator Sukanya Krishnan as Robyn Brown pleads in another scene. “You have six children, that’s worth fighting for.”

When it comes to his first wife Meri Brown, Kody admits that he “told her I loved her and I decided to love her” before their relationship fell apart.

Janelle and Christine Brown later claim that Kody can answer for what happened in their marriages as a “grown man,” before addressing the two unspecified women and their comments. “It’s nonsense that they talk about me because it’s my fault that I don’t like them.”

Although Kody’s confession suggests that his relationships with Janelle, Meri and Christine are past the point of no return, Robyn previously told PEOPLE about her hopes of reconciling with her former sisters.

While collective harmony and reconciliation seems like a lofty goal, Robyn said she believes it’s still “possible” for everyone to remain “family.”

“It seems a little different,” she said of the family’s current dynamic. “Certainly I hope it’s possible, but I can’t have expectations. I can’t expect from people, I understand more and more, as far as families and that connection and spending time together and things and operational kind of families. So I hope and I pray that it is possible, but it will be a situation where everyone will have to choose it. So I don’t know.”

In a period of 14 months, three of Sister wives the patriarch’s marriages broke up. Kody’s third wife, Christine, left first in November 2021. A year later, in December 2022, it was revealed that he had divorced Janelle.

“Kody and I split up and I’m happy, really happy,” Janelle Sukanyi said in last year’s Sister Wives: One on One Special. “I don’t know, things just became kind of indifferent, like I just didn’t care anymore.”

Janelle also said she’s “not waiting” for a possible reconciliation with Kody. “I was kind of sad that that part of our life was gone,” she shared. “I wasn’t broken. It wasn’t heartbreaking for me like it was for Christine [Brown]. It was like, I just mourned that life gone…. We had a great ride.”

A month later, his union with Meri was confirmed in January after their relationship had been platonic and distant for years.
