Sister Wives’ Robyn Brown Demands Kody ‘Stop Pointing Fingers’ After He Called Ex Janelle a ‘S— Sister Wife’

Kody Brown isn’t happy about the family spending Christmas apart, but Robyn Brown has no patience for his finger-pointing.

On Friday Sister Wives Strike Back: Part 1, Kody, 54, watched a scene from Season 18 where Janelle and Christine discuss their Christmas plans. He then claimed that Janelle – who he split from in December 2022 – was “trying to put it all on me”.

“Janelle doesn’t want to have Christmas with Merri, with Robyn and me, she’d rather have Christmas with Christine, so she’s making excuses with the boys,” Robyn, 45, said of her “interpretation” of what Janelle said in the scene.

Kody shares sons Logan, Hunter, Garrison and Gabriel and daughters Madison and Savanah with Janelle (54), and their children have previously stated that their relationship with their father is strained.

In an episode that aired in October, Gabe, 22, said of Kody: “Me and Garrison are at odds with my dad because when we expressed our displeasure with how things are going with COVID, I hit a wall. And there was no line of dialogue. I think that’s what really drove the wedge between us.”

Kody continued to call out Janelle’s behavior in the Talk back episode, accusing her of trying to “make me look bad” and “specifically trying to destroy my character with my family.”

“She’s a f— sister’s wife,” he said, prompting Robyn to shoot back and tell him he needed to “stop talking about sisters.”

“Well, we had a family that worked together. They try to blame you, they try to blame me. And all those years in Vegas, we all worked together – Kody replied.

“You always bring up the bonds with your sisters and never talk about your real problems with women,” Robyn, Kody’s only remaining wife, told him. “You need to stop pointing fingers at sister wives.”

Although Kody once had four sisters — Janelle, Christine, 51, Meri, 52, and Robyn — his relationships with all three, except Robyn, ended within 14 months of each other.

In a recent episode Sister wives: one on onethe father of 18 admitted that he “wouldn’t be interested” in Robyn hiring another sister-in-law.

“I would have to tell that woman I will never love you as much as I love her,” he told host Sukanya Krishnan. “I know better now.”

Janelle had a similar response as she said she doesn’t “anticipate” her ex taking another sister.

“Now he’s talking more and more about, ‘How do we move forward in monogamy.’ So, I think that’s where he was headed,” she said.

Janelle’s stance stemmed from her belief that both Kody and Robyn seem “very happy” in their relationship. “They’ve found something together at this stage in their lives that seems very profound and I think it’s working. And that’s okay,” she added.

Robyn, however, shared her doubts about how she feels about the progress of her relationship with Kody since he broke his promise to build a strong, multifaceted family together.

“It’s weird. To be loving and respectful to Kody, I want to say yes, but I just don’t know exactly how this works,” she told the host. “It’s weird. I feel like it’s disrespectful.”

Robyn, who shares son Solomon and daughter Ariella with Kody, as well as children from a previous marriage, said she was also “disrespectful to be happy” with Kody because she didn’t get Janelle, Meri and Christina’s blessing off camera despite them expressing their approval of the relationship in front of camera.

“I need it off camera, in my face [conversation] because I don’t know how it feels to be disrespectful to his children,” she explained through tears. “It seems disrespectful to the commitments I’ve made.”
