A Texas group of sisters’ TikTok video has gone viral for all the wrong reasons.
The video – which has garnered over 3 million views on the platform – begins as GURWM (get ready with me) featuring 15-year-old Valentina Zamarripa. The teenager begins to remove her jewelry while telling the camera that “it’s been a very long day” when her 9-year-old sister, Khaleesi, walks in and asks for a pair of scissors.
A confused Valentina advises her sister to be careful and begins to explain her beauty routine when a scream is heard in the background.

“Khaleesi cut my hair,” Valentina’s 8-year-old sister Camelia enters the room screaming, pointing to her bangs. Since that picture day was the next day, Camelia was freaked out, causing Valentina to ask Khaleesi to close the door before their mom, Gresia, found out what happened.
Khaleesi and Camelia start talking about a new haircut while Valentina tries to Google “how to cut bangs” on her phone. In the midst of the commotion, their younger sister Magdalena walked in and said, “Oooh! You’re in trouble!”

Valentina shuts Magdalena up by offering her a cookie and gets to work on fixing Camelia’s uneven bangs following a tip from a video she found on TikTok. After Valentina manages to cut Camelia’s bangs to the point where they both agree she “looks cute,” their mom walks into the room.
After the sisters discover Camelia’s new haircut, their mom demands to know who cut their hair, and the sisters accuse each other. Their mom then tells Camelia to go show their dad the hairdo as the video cuts to Valentina asking her viewers to “pray for them”.
Gresia told TODAY.com that it was the third time Camelia had tried to cut her hair without her permission and that she got the inspiration to cut her bangs from a character on My summer is beautiful.

“In May, she ruined her hair when she curled it with a comb (which got stuck) so she cut it off,” she said. “And when Camelia was 3, Khaleesi cut her hair to the top of her head. They said, ‘We were playing barber shop.’ ”
Gresia also told myRGV.com that the funny clip initially had 10 million views on the social media platform before their old account was banned.

“There are people out there who say they were going through depression and this made their day, and others said their brother or sister died and it made them think of them,” she told the website. “People come up to them wanting to take pictures with them. We’re very humbled by that. They notice our kids for a good reason. If we can bring this much joy to people, just like that. This is great.”
In a subsequent TikTok video, Camelia showed a photo of herself from the day of the painting and commented on the situation, declaring it “the best mistake that ever happened”.
