Sofía Vergara Keeps a Nude Photo of Herself from When She Was ‘Young and Fresh’ in Her Closet

While rummaging through her luxurious walk-in closet, Sofía Vergara discovered a very special item.

The Griselda star opened the doors of his mansion in Beverly Park to Architectural Digest’s Cover story for March. In the accompanying video, the actress invites viewers to a glamorous space where there are racks of clothes and handbags and several walls of shoes.

“I actually live here—in my closet,” she admits. “I spend most of my time here. This is like a girl’s dream.”

Vergara says the objects on the marble-topped room’s large center island have special meaning.

“All these things on the counter are very special to me,” she says, showing an antique find from a shop in Paris and a treasured photograph of her late brother and late cousin.

Then Vergara holds up a framed black-and-white boudoir-style photo of herself, wistfully explaining, “And this picture was when I was young and fresh.”

Vergara also professes her love for the rainbow color scheme in her closet, designed by Linda Koopersmith, aka The Beverly Hills Organizer.

The actress previously showed off her space while spending quality time there with her ex Modern family starring Julie Bowen and Jesse Tyler Ferguson in October.

In a photo shared by Vergara on Instagram, fans saw a framed photo showing co-stars re-creating Sophia Loren’s infamous side-eye to Jayne Mansfield in 1957 as Bowen stared at Vergara’s cleavage at the 2014 Emmy Awards.

Vergara bought the $26 million home in 2020 while she was still married to Joe Manganiello. After seven years of marriage, the couple announced they were separating in July 2023, and Manganiello filed for divorce two days later.

says Vergara AD she wanted the house to feel “homey and cozy,” crediting designer Ohara Davies-Gaetano for bringing her vision to life during a tumultuous time. “I loved working with Ohara. She kind of saved my life because I was at a crossroads,” Vergara explains in the video. “It was either, ‘I’m going to hate this house or I’m going to love this house. What to do? I don’t want to move here because I don’t think things are going the way I wanted them to.’”

One of her other favorite parts of the home is her lush backyard garden.

“When I found this house, it was horrible. It was like a castle in Transylvania,” she explains. “But when I stepped outside and saw this garden, I knew it was where I wanted to live. This outdoor area is like an extension of the house. The most special part in the house.”
