Sofía Vergara Reveals How She’s Been ‘Trying to Have Fun’ Lately After Joe Manganiello Split

Sofía Vergara is embracing a summer of independence after her split from Joe Manganiello.

The American talent The judge, 51, revealed she doesn’t turn down any chance to party and see some of the biggest concerts of the summer, including Taylor Swift, Beyoncé and Karol G.

“I was lucky!” she said Party tonight. “People were asking me out, you know, [I’ve been] trying to have fun. So I went everywhere they invited me.”

The Modern family The alum teased that “everyone can learn something” from Beyoncé, adding of her performance: “She was spectacular! What a show!”

“Her daughter, her songs, her clothes, her body, I mean everything,” she said of the Grammy winner, referring to her oldest daughter, Blue Ivy Carter, who showed off her dance moves on stage alongside her mother.

Vergara also documented her experience at the show on social media on Saturday, sharing several videos on Instagram of her dancing the night away on the Los Angeles stop of the Renaissance World Tour.

Beyonce’s concert is hardly the only show Vergara has enjoyed this summer. She said ET“[We saw Karol G], and before Karol G was Taylor Swift. I mean, I don’t think I’ve ever been to so many concerts [in my life].”

The actress’ jam-packed summer — which also includes a return to the judges’ table in the American talent for season 18 of the live show — comes nearly two months after her ex Manganiello filed for divorce after seven years of marriage.

“We have made the difficult decision to divorce,” the couple said in a statement to Page six in July. “As two people who love and care for each other very much, we kindly ask that our privacy be respected at this time as we navigate this new phase of our lives.”

Sofía Vergara and Joe Manganiello are divorcing after 7 years of marriage

Manganiello officially filed for divorce two days after announcing the breakup. According to documents obtained by PEOPLE, he cited “irreconcilable differences” as the reason for the split and listed the separation date as July 2. He also noted that the couple had a prenup.

In separate court documents obtained by PEOPLE, Vergara asked the court to confirm the former couple’s prenup in her filing. She also asked that certain assets remain hers, including jewelry, art and “other personal effects.” She also claimed her earnings from before and during their marriage as her property.
