Youtube

After the project was launched, he began visiting Lahore’s free markets to discuss topics such as Muslims in India, the partition of Kashmir and inflation in Pakistan. He received a lot of backlash and threats from YouTubers and individuals he interviewed. They labeled him an Indian and accused him of receiving financial help from India for creating such content. In an interview, he discussed the challenges he faced at the beginning of his YouTube journey. He revealed that his former colleagues at previous news channels warned him that focusing on India-related content might deny him a chance to return to a mainstream media role. Not caring about the consequences, he started creating India vs Pakistan centric content to change the views of Pakistani individuals. He also started “Mission Kashmir” on his YouTube channel, conducting interviews asking whether Kashmir should be part of India or Pakistan.
dispute
In 2023, Sohaib was embroiled in controversy when he visited Karachi to support the minority community. He claimed that a 150-year-old temple in Pakistan was demolished by Muslims. After inspecting the scene, he expressed deep concern about the situation of ethnic minority people. Sohaib launched a protest against the government’s actions and contacted Pakistani YouTubers to join the cause, but no one took part.
After the incident, a YouTuber named Sana Amjad uploaded a video on her channel accusing Sohaib of promoting it. In response, Sohaib posted another video claiming that YouTubers who profit from India-related content should be ashamed for not standing up for Pakistan’s minorities.
