Song Kang-ho is a South Korean actor who is considered one of the most prolific South Korean actors. He is internationally known for his performances in South Korean films such as Snowpiercer (2013) and Parasite (2019). He is often referred to as Song Kang-ho.

Song Kang-ho was born on Tuesday, January 17, 1967 (53 years old in 2020) in Gimhae, South Gyeongsang Province, South Korea. His zodiac sign is Capricorn. Since middle school, he dreamed of becoming an actor. After graduating from Gimhae High School, he joined a local social theater group. At the time he joined the theater, there were only five theaters in South Korea. He majored in broadcasting and entertainment at Gyeongsang National University in Jinju, South Gyeongsang Province.

In 1990, he joined a theater company in Busan called “Yeonwoo Dance University”. With the company, he starred in memorable plays such as “Dongseung”, “Park Gilji”, “The Time of Gukmun”, “Yojeong Pianran” and “Byungso”, the first of which was “Mr. Choi”. He has been in the theater industry for nearly ten years. He has also worked in the theater companies “Saebyeog” and “Chaimu”.
