Sonic’s new menu prioritizes all saves.
The fast-food chain has announced a new $1.99 menu, called the Funn.99 Menu, which includes an appetizer, entree and dessert all for $1.99 each.
Available all day, every day, permanent menu options include new queso wraps, a quarter-pound double cheeseburger, a chili cheese cone, mini cookies and 16-ounce shakes in 12 different flavors.

Sonic’s chief marketing officer, Ryan Dickerson, said the value menu is “all about choice and fun”.
The offer does not end with the Fun.99 menu. Fans can also grab half-price drinks and slushies whenever they order on the Sonic app.

Sonic has many new menu innovations this summer, including queso wraps, which come in two flavors. Bacon ranch queso wrap is made with crispy chicken tenders, bacon, melted cheddar cheese, creamy ranch and white queso wrapped in a flour tortilla.

Southwest crunch queso wrap also includes crispy chicken tenders, but with different toppings. The flour tortilla is filled with creamy Southwest sauce, crispy tortilla strips, melted cheddar cheese and white queso.
Sonic isn’t the only fast food chain offering tempting deals. In June, McDonald’s offered a $5 meal, which included a McDouble or McChicken sandwich with fries, four chicken McNuggets and a soft drink.

McDonald’s US President Joe Erlinger said the chain heard “fans loud and clear – they’re asking for even more value from us, and this summer that’s exactly what they’re going to get.”
Wendy’s has outdone McDonald’s by adding a free Frosty with its own $5 meal for a limited time. The free offer has expired, but the $5 meal remains. Includes either Jr. Bacon Cheeseburger or Crispy Chicken Sandwich, 4 piece Nuggs, Jr. Hot & Crispy Fries and a small soft drink.
