LOVE Island’s Sophie Piper first properly met her sister Rochelle when she was 18.
Sophie (24) and Rochelle (34) grew up separately and were not in contact until another Islander – Kem Cetinay – got involved.

Rochelle was just three years old when her father – Mark Piper – abandoned her and her mum Roz Wiseman.
With his new partner, he had three children – Sophie, Lili and Jake.
Interestingly, Kem went to school with Lili and decided to approach Rochelle at a party after he became famous.

This Morning star Rochelle explained on Giovanna Fletcher’s Happy Mum Happy Baby podcast: “I’ve never said that to anyone before.
“Two years ago I was at our management Christmas party and Kem from Love Island was there.
“He was chatting and said: ‘I need to talk to you… as soon as I became famous I promised my friend Lila that I would talk to you because she’s your sister on your dad’s side.’
“I knew about her and met her when I was five, but it was so complicated because they were much younger and my dad wasn’t involved.”
Sophie also opened up about getting back in touch, telling MailOnline, Sophie said: “There was a period where we weren’t in touch.
“It was weird growing up not knowing Rochelle, but since we’ve been talking we’ve been talking every day so it’s nice that we’re all in each other’s lives now.
“My middle sister Lili went to school with Kem so that’s how we know him. Apparently he was at the same school as me. It’s funny how it all ties together.”
Rochelle and Sophie look almost identical and fans are often stunned when they post pictures together.
Speaking of the sister going on Love Island All Stars. Rochelle said: “[she] she brought fun and flirtatiousness to series six, and now she’s returning to the mansion to find the one.”
And chatting before entering the villa, Sophie said of her family: “They’re going to die when they see me on TV again. It will be a shock.
“It’s the first time they’ve become so obsessed with the show.”
Back in 2020, Sophie got hitched to Connor Durman and the pair tried to split after being evicted from the mansion.
In this series, Sophie is paired with Josh Ritchie and the couple is very close.
Rochelle will appear via video link on Love Island All Stars this evening for a slightly different segment of Meet The Parents.
