Sophie Turner Spotted Kissing British Aristocrat Peregrine Pearson amid Divorce from Joe Jonas

Sophie Turner appears to be moving on with a new man amid her divorce from Joe Jonas.

The Game of Thrones star, 27, was photographed sharing a kiss with British aristocrat Peregrine “Perry” Pearson in Paris on Saturday. He was identified by multiple media outlets, including The Sun, which first broke the news.

According to the media, the couple was spotted talking and sharing a kiss at the Gare du Nord train station. A few hours later, Turner and Pearson, 29, were seen together at the Stade de France.

The pair were photographed arriving at the stadium in the group stage for the men’s Rugby World Cup final, where Turner presented the Webb Ellis Cup with retired rugby player Dan Carter.

As the couple arrived at the stadium, Pearson, wearing a baseball cap, “took a step behind” Turner, a source told PEOPLE.

Representatives for Turner did not immediately respond to PEOPLE’s request for comment.

Pearson, the eldest son of the Cowdray family, is heir to the Cowdray estate and fourth viscountcy, according to Tatler. He is also a director of a London real estate development company, British media reported in 2019.

The aristocrat was recently in a romantic relationship with Princess Maria-Olympia of Greece and Denmark, the godson of King Charles. The princess, 27, told The Telegraph that the couple started dating in 2020, and the DailyMail reported that they officially split in September.

While Maria-Olympia is known for her strong presence on social media, particularly on Instagram, Pearson is quite reclusive. However, she appears to have a private Instagram account that Turner follows.

Turner and Pearson’s rumored romance comes two months after Jonas filed for divorce from Turner in a filing claiming “the marriage between the parties has irretrievably broken down.”

At the time, a source told PEOPLE that the divorce was “no surprise” to those around them.

“They weren’t separated, but they were living separate lives for months. As far as custody goes, this literally happened, so they’re figuring it out in real time,” an insider told PEOPLE. “They had a prenup. As a family, they were in Florida. The kids have been with him for the last few months, traveling with him with his family while he was on tour. Sophie was working in the UK.”

A day after Jonas filed for divorce, the couple released a joint statement on Instagram, writing, “After four wonderful years of marriage, we have mutually decided to amicably end our marriage.”

“There are many speculative stories as to why, but this is truly a mutual decision and we sincerely hope that everyone can respect our wishes for privacy for us and our children.”

In early October, after reaching an agreement on temporary custody of their two daughters, Willa, 3, and Delphine, 15 months, the former couple released another joint statement.

“After a productive and successful mediation, we have agreed that the children will spend equal time in loving homes in the US and the UK,” they wrote. “We look forward to being great co-parents.”
