Three decades later, the Spice Girls show the “Power of Five”!
The celebration follows the 30th anniversary of the first female audition for a girl group.
In a new post from the group X (formerly known as Twitter) all five girls – Emma Bunton, Victoria (née Adams) Beckham, Geri Halliwell Horner, Mel Brown and Mel Chisholm – were seen dancing, singing and working out with each other.
In a series of short clips from archive footage, the girls are seen in casual clothes from the ’90s. while they play and laugh at each other. One sweet snap shows all five girls huddled together in a doorway, with Geri, 51, and Victoria, 49, on the floor, while Emma, 48, Mel B, 48, and Mel C, 50, stand above them and sing for the camera.

While various clips show the girls practicing separately, one clip shows the entire girl group on a makeshift stage dancing and singing in unison – with Victoria (aka Posh Spice) in the middle, between Mel B (aka Scary Spice), Geri (aka Ginger Spice), Emma (aka Baby Spice) and Mel C (aka Sporty Spice).

Recently, in January, Mel B shared Today with Hoda and Jenna that fans can expect good news soon.
“Well, I’ve been saying this forever, but now we’re actually going to announce some really good news in about a couple of weeks that involves all five of us,” said Mel B. The “Wannabe” singer said fans will be “100 percent happy” with the news.

While teasing the possibility of a reunion, she admitted that the logistics of getting the band back together were tricky, because “there’s five of us and we have five different diaries, and we’re all parents.”
“It’s going to be the gift that keeps on giving, without talking about it too much,” said Mel B. – I’m going to get myself into so much trouble.
