NICE details of a private conversation between the three Spice Girls caused some blushing – and fury – when they emerged in court documents this week.
In it, the brutally honest Mel B told bandmates Geri Halliwell and Emma Bunton that “charity doesn’t pay the bills” while seemingly discussing a reunion.

The Sun understands the leak of the messages, which formed part of a defamation lawsuit filed in the US on Wednesday, has angered the 90s pop icon.
There will probably be more tantrums and red faces because of a bunch of bitchy conversations that took place years ago, before Posh, Scary, Sporty, Baby and Ginger were BFFs again.
We’re told there are a number of scathing emails claiming Posh was criticized for the way she behaved at the premiere of Viva Forever! West End Musical 11 December 2012
She arrived late at night because she was stuck in traffic and then decided to sit apart from the group during the show.

Sources say it didn’t go down well with Mel B, 49, and it comes just months after the girls reunited as a five-piece for the closing ceremony of the London Olympics.
We’re told they’ve also secretly called in lawyers for a potential tour that doesn’t include Victoria Beckham – in case she tries to stop them.
At one point, a few years later, rifts between the other three and Victoria and Mel C, both 50, appeared to be at rock bottom – as they planned to return without them.
A source told The Sun that one girl even lashed out at a confidant over one of her bandmates’ financial problems.
All this comes after Mel B’s group chat with Geri, 51, and Emma, 48, emerged.
Ironically, Geri told Mel after her “charity doesn’t pay” remark that she hoped “nobody ever hacks your texts” – to which Mel said: “Why? My texts are fine”, before adding: “Like I said, a charity doesn’t pay everyone’s bills, that’s not it.”

Our source said: “This is very uncomfortable for the girls because it doesn’t really match their core messages.
“But apparently there was a fair a few years ago and since then they’ve all kissed and made up.
“Just look at how happy they were together celebrating Victoria’s 50th birthday back in April, singing their biggest hits together after a few drinks.
“The hatchet is well and truly buried.”
