Srinda Mol or Srinda Arhaan, popularly known as Srinda (formerly Srinda Ashab), was born on Friday, May 23, 1986 in Cochin, Kerala, India (age 36; as of 2022). She attended St. Mary’s Anglo-Indian Girls’ High School in Fort Kochi, Kerala, till class ten. Srinda did her undergraduate studies at Sacred Heart College in Thevara, Kochi district.

In an interview, she opened up about her first marriage, adding that she believed the decision was impulsive and immature. She said divorce was the biggest struggle she had faced in her life.
In 2018, she married Siju S. Bava in a private ceremony attended by relatives and close friends. Siju directed the Malayalam film Nale, starring Farhad Faasil.

Srinda started her career in the Malayalam film industry as an assistant director at the age of 23. She has appeared in Chinatown (2010), Heroes (2012) and Casanova (2012). Srinda, who played the role of Jincy in Aashiq Abu’s 22 Female Kottayam (2012), has established herself as one of the finest character actors in the Malayalam film industry by portraying various strong characters. In an interview, she revealed that her role in the 2014 Nivin Pauly-starrer 1983 gave her a major breakthrough in her career, with films like 1983 (2014), Tamaar Padaar ( She also got her big break with roles in Trance (2014) and Trance (2020). Srinda is one of the protagonists of the Malayalam anthology Freedom Fight (2022); the film revolves around the lives of marginalized people and various relevant social causes. Srinda plays the role of Ashwathy in the Asanghadithar sequence; the plot is based on a true story. In 2022, she appeared in “Bheeshma Parvam” starring “Mammootty”. Srinda discusses the role of Suhara in the 2022 satirical comedy Mei Hoom Moosa.
