In 2011, she founded the Indian Wiccan Community and Voodoo Temple (IWCVT). She is also a director, editor and writer. She also conducts workshops and courses based on IWCVT. Later, she founded Sarweshvari Shakti Women Akhara. In 2012, she founded Sshivani Durga Productions and serves as a producer. Under her production company, she produced the short film Short Cut, which was screened at various film festivals and buses across Mumbai. She also made a short film called “Suicide.” In 2013, she worked as a crystal ball gazer/psychic on Astro Channel for six months. In 2013, she also became the president of Ganga Raksha Dal.

Controversy over entering Bigg Boss
In 2017, she was criticized by the Sant Samaj for her entry into the Bigg Boss 11 show as they believed it was unethical for any saint to participate in such a controversial show. The president of the All India Akada Diocese said that only fake sadhus will participate in the reality show and hinted that her name will appear on the list of fake babas released by the Akada Diocese. He went on to say,

Controversy with Ekta Kapoor
Sshivani Durga has lodged a complaint against Ekta Kapoor for portraying army officers and their spouses in her web series. Shivani said Ekta’s apology was not enough. She expressed her displeasure on social media, calling Ekta’s behavior disrespectful and disloyal to the country.
