Stacey Dash made her television debut in the NBC crime drama Pilot Farrell, Valerie Harper and Ed O’Neill (1982), but lasted only one episode. She is best known for her role as Michelle in the 1985 Cosby Show episode “Denise’s Friend”. She also appeared on The Fresh Prince of Bel-Air. Stacey’s first major television role was on TV 101 in 1988, which was canceled after 13 episodes.
Stacey’s breakthrough performance came in the Richard Pryor comedy Moving (1988). She also appeared in Mo’ Money and Renaissance Man at the same time.
