Station 19 Alum Jay Hayden Joins FBI: International Season 4: 'Very Excited'

Station 19 alum Jay Hayden joins FBI: International.

Hayden, 37, who previously starred on the ABC series Station 19is going to CBS to join the agency. Deadline first reported the news on Tuesday, September 3. Hayden confirmed that he had been cast in the CBS series on his Instagram account on Wednesday, September 4.

“Very excited,” Hayden wrote alongside a screenshot of Deadline’s report.

Hayden will play Agent Tyler Booth, an agent in Budapest who needs help on a case. His character will appear in the second part of the season, reports Deadline.

More recently, Hayden finished his seven-season run as Travis Montgomery on the ABC series. The Grey’s Anatomy the spinoff ended after its seventh season in May 2024.

Hayden was previously a regular on the ABC series Doorknob and had recurring roles on Crazy ex-girlfriend and SEAL team.

Hayden will also be joined by Jesse Lee Soffer, who will take on the lead role in the series FBI: InternationalPEOPLE previously confirmed. Soffer takes over for Luke Kleintank, who left the franchise in the third season Chicago police The alum, 40, will play Wesley Mitchell, the new special agent and head of the International Flight Team.

Hayden and Soffer will be joined in the cast by Carter Redwood, Vinessa Vidotto, Eva-Jane Willis and Christina Wolfe.

FBI: International is the third iteration FBI franchise, seq FBI and FBI: Most Wanted. Another spin-off follows the elite operatives of the Budapest-based Federal Bureau of Investigation’s International Flight Team.

The Dick Wolf production follows a group of special agents as they “travel across Europe on a mission to track and neutralize threats against American citizens wherever they may be, putting their lives on the line to protect the US and its people,” according to the synopsis.
